La Verkin City Water Rates Update:
ATTENTION! La Verkin City residents! Beginning October 1st, water rates will return to the original rates adopted earlier this year. You’ll see this change reflected on your November water bill.
The City Council has agreed to issue partial credits to all residential water users who were charged in Tier 4 and Tier 5 for the months of July, August, and September. Any water charged in these two tiers for those three months will be charged at the Tier 3 rate, and a credit for the difference will be issued to their accounts. This should give anyone in these two tiers a chance to adjust their water use habits and take measures to use less water.
